Fun Slides, a multi-award-winning kid's product from Simtec, Co., are plastic sliders that attach under athletic shoes. They provide the sensation of sliding on a hardwood floor with socks on. At Fun Slides Carpet Skatepark & Party Center, the kids slide on the skatepark's carpeted ramps, jumps and slide rails for a new, easy to learn thrill.

The 12,000 square foot black light facility, located in the space formerly occupied by Bobby Dales, is divided in sections based on skill level, and only advanced skaters are permitted in some of the 'extreme' skate areas. Every new skater, regardless of age or ability, is assigned an instructor for basic lessons. The park also includes a Jr Slider Zone area used for parties for 4-6 years olds.

The facilities are ideal for birthday parties, school field trips, youth group activities, scouting events and corporate team building. The Greensburg location offers three party rooms overlooking the skatepark that can be combined into one large area to celebrate with plenty of friends.

The Fun Slides Carpet Skatepark & Party Center, at the Greensburg Shopping Center in the 400 block of East Pittsburgh Street (located at 207 Hudson Ave) opens for 2 hour public skate sessions May 19 at 1:30 pm. The first birthday parties will be held May 20^th.
