At Fox Valley Volunteer Hospice, we offer care to the whole person and the entire family who is affected by a life threatening illness or the loss of a loved one. We support the patient and family to alleviate the pain, suffering and loneliness associated with dying and grieving.

Approximately 70% of our patients are able to remain in their own homes with our support. However, we also provide hospice support to individuals in the nursing home setting as well as assisted living facilities and the hospital.

Trained Volunteers

All services and supplies are available to children and adults regardless of age or Medicare eligibility.

Fox Valley Volunteer Hospice can partner with any Medicare-certified hospice to ensure patients receive the full spectrum of hospice services available.

Our hospice care continues beyond the death of a loved one. At Fox Valley Volunteer Hospice, we provide bereavement care that attempts to put control back into an individual's life by providing support and assistance with immediate needs. Bereavement care options include:

Support groups led by trained facilitators
Support by a volunteer with special skills in grief work
One-on-one short term grief counseling
Opportunities for social interaction
Support groups are available for adults and children covering a wide variety of losses. All bereavement services are available to anyone and are provided free of charge.
