MISSION STATEMENT

Foothill Elementary School is a community school. Our mission at Foothill is to provide an enriched,exciting and healthy learning environment that allows children the opportunity to grow and develop necessary social and academic skills.

We are a professional staff, dedicated to learning and growth for all children, staff and parents. We are committed to giving our students a school experience which is personalized and individualized through student choice, a well-trained and a well-planned program. Working towards an integrated curriculum developed by teachers, providing meaningful activities, planning that is based on collaboration are all designed to foster positive, lifelong learning habits in our school population. Planning and communicating with district leaders and using state guidelines will provide teachers with the tools necessary to develop a quality educational program for students.

Our curriculum supports the development of creativity, divergent thinking, problem solving, decision making and a strong knowledge base to enhance our students' self-esteem and prepare them for participation in our world community.
