Edwards County Sportsmen Club is a private gun club dedicated to wildllife preservation, gun gafety education, and the promotion of shooting sports.  The club has two trap fields, a skeet field and a 100 yard rifle and pistol shooting range.  The gun club is affiliated with Amateur Trapshooting Association and Illinois Rifle Association.
 
The club sponsors regular shooting events in skeet, trap, rifle, pistol, black powder and other shooting sports.  The club offers open shooting in trap and skeet every Monday from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm.  Trap and skeet leagues are offered throughout the year, registeres ATA trap events are offered in the spring and summer months.
