Vision:

The Vision and Purpose of EFC falls under five categories of which we have five fundamental scriptures. We strive to follow the pattern of the Church described in the New Testament and believe it is important to keep “the mission” of what we do pure and simple. We believe in the “ripple affect”. We are striving to make an impact locally, then regionally, nationally, and finally internationally.

What We Believe

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

As you attend Eastside Family Church, you will discover that we love and uphold the integrity of the Word of God (the Bible). In order to grow closer to God, you must read it continually. The Bible says, “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17). It also says that it (the Bible) “contains everything pertaining to life and godliness” (2 Peter 1:3).

Listed below, you will read statements of faith concerning what we believe. They are fundamentally sound, Biblically teachings. You can feel comfortable to know that at EFC our teaching is grounded on the Word of God. We will teach these truths in practical, easy-to-understand, and applicable ways. Although our methods of communicating these truths may vary from time to time, you can be assured that our message will never change.

GOD

We believe that God, the Creator, the Father of Jesus Christ, is “the only true God” (John 17:3), holy and separate from all His creation. God the Father is greater and the Source of the Word. (John 14:28). He is a personal God who has also revealed Himself through His Son Jesus Christ, and the gift of holy spirit (His divine nature).

JESUS CHRIST

We believe that Jesus Christ, the “last Adam” (1 Corinthians 15:45), is the only-begotten Son of God. He was born of the Virgin Mary, was filled with holy spirit, lived a sinless life, and suffered and died as a payment for the sins of mankind. He was raised from the dead, and exalted to the position of “Lord” by God Himself. Jesus is the Head over all matters to the Church, His Body.
