We have our ranch raised, lean registered Black Hereford ground beef available! USDA inspected and available for local pick up at $4.50 per pound, sold in one pound butcher wrapped packages. Beef can be picked up wither in Dallas or Mineola, TX. We are just starting our vegetable CSA by providing a wide variety of vegetables grown by us or neighboring farms. We either grow or barter for our produce and provide monthly distributions in winter and early spring and twice per month or more in warm months. 2011 is sold out at this time. We may add additional fall/winter subscriptions later this year.

East Texas Homestead Farms is a historic piece of land that was the homestead of one of East Texas's first naturalists. Located just outside of Mineola, most buildings are constructed with materials recovered by the former owner from turn of the century structures. The heritage continues with the renovation of "The Cottage" at Homestead Farms. The cottage renovation was completed in 2010 utilizing materials that had been stored for decades in the former owners woodworking shop and outbuildings. "The Cottage" is available for overnight stays. The property is located just a few miles from Texas's premier bass fishing lake, Lake Fork, and a short drive to First Monday in Canton.

East Texas Farms is associated with PineHill Ranch, located directly across the county road from The Cottage and is known as Texas's top selling breeder of Black Hereford Cattle.
