Mission:
The mission of Cumberland Gap High School, as a student centered, community based school, is to graduate productive, socially responsible citizens and lifelong learners through positive learning opportunities.
About Us:
Cumberland Gap High School sits on 67 scenic acres in western Claiborne County, Tennessee in the foothills of the culturally-rich Appalachian Mountains, located about a mile from beautiful, scenic Highway 63. Enrollment for the 2013-2014 school year averages 575 students with 45 faculty, 28 support staff, a principal, and assistant principal. Our school opened its doors to students in 2003, merging Powell Valley High and Forge Ridge High Schools. Both of these schools have a proud heritage of educating students in the area. Graduates represent every profession, and many have gained prominence on the state and national levels.
