School Goals:

Create an educational team that fosters cooperation between teachers, support staff, administration, and Board of Education with the shared goal to serve and educate the children of the community with excellence. With a sincere effort by the education team the support of the community will be assured. This effort means to lay aside old differences and disagreements and to start fresh with the idea that a school and an individual working in a school system cannot be successful unless all members of the team are really willing to invest their efforts to meet the goal.

Gain and keep good public relations and community support: An effort to gain and keep community support must be done honestly. We must all work hard to serve the children and community well. Every board member, every teacher and every employee must be aware that good community relations are the responsibility of all the members of the education team. Maintain and increase the positive relationship between the Board of Education, the staff, and the community.

Maintain building and grounds in a fashion to make the school and community proud of having an attractive school campus. The administration and custodial staff should set short and long term goals to make this possible. An attractive campus is a billboard that daily advertises that the school is striving for excellence.

Increase the communication between the administrators and staff. Honest discussion is a means to prevent minor incidents from becoming a major and create divisions in the educational team. The administration should make a great effort to be honest, open, willing to listen, to all: but remaining constant and firm in carrying out the policy of the Board of Education. Administration to make constant progress in improving their own performance and the performance of those they supervise. Required evaluation will be done in a timely manner.

Foster an attitude that all we do is to benefit the children and the community. Treat all with respect even in tense and adverse situations. Be profession in our behavior.

Continue to seek methods to control cost in operation of the school. To buy needed supplies and materials, make repairs and improvements, purchase needed services, but keep in mind the most economical means balanced against actual value. Constant study of the budget to enable the Superintendent and the Board of Education to make sound financial decisions
