Welcome to Emotions Anonymous Our program has been known to work miracles in the lives of many who suffer from problems as diverse as depression, anger, broken or strained relationships, grief, anxiety, low self-esteem, panic, abnormal fears, resentment, jealousy, guilt, despair, fatigue, tension, boredom, loneliness, withdrawal, obsessive and negative thinking, worry, compulsive behavior and a variety of other emotional issues. About Our Meetings: Emotions Anonymous is a spiritual program, not a religious one. EA is not a medical or psychiatric service. Leadership of group meetings rotates and is non-professional. EA provides a warm and accepting group setting in which to share experiences without fear of criticism. Through weekly support meetings, members discover they are not alone in their struggles. We may each have different symptoms, but the underlying emotions are the same or similar. Effectiveness: Does Emotions Anonymous Work? People who have turned to Emotions Anonymous for help have reported that the experience was beneficial and helped them to improve their lives. Is there a fee? There are no dues or fees for Emotions Anonymous membership; Emotions Anonymous meetings are self-supporting by voluntary contributions of its members. Emotions Anonymous is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization, or institution, nor does it endorse or oppose any causes. The primary purpose of Emotions Anonymous is to show its members how to stay well emotionally and how to help others to become emotionally well.
