THE BUNKER HILL AREA KIWANIS CLUB, who as a group achieve what individuals cannot do alone. Working together, members voluntarily share the challenge of community improvements and leadership, assuming personal responsibility for humanitarian and civic projects. The Bunker Hill Club has for the past forty years been devoted to "Serving the Children of the World" and meeting needs in the community. Among the efforts to meet needs, the club currently provides scholarships to high school graduating seniors, awards to Junior High students for achievemenht in education, provides support for the after prom activity, supports elementary school graduation activity, sponsors a children's Easter egg hunt, gathers food for the community food pantry, supports July 4th fireworks, and gives support to International Kiwanis efforts to meet the needs of the children of the world.
