AYSO Region 425 is part of a nationwide, non-profit organization that develops and delivers quality youth soccer programs in a fun, family environment based on AYSO'S 5 philosophies:

Good Sportsmanship, Positive Coaching, Open Registration, Balanced Teams and Everyone Plays.

Everyone Plays - All players must play at least 1/2 of the game. Our region requires further that each child play 3/4, if possible. Kids have fun, learn, and grow by playing. Not by watching other kids play.

Balanced Teams - Prior to the fall season we re-form and attempt to balance teams with the hoped-for result of close games. Close games are more fun for the players. No scores or standings are kept because we're not interested in crowning a champion, but rather in having fun and developing soccer skills.

Open Registration - We want everyone who wants to play to be able to play. AYSO has no tryouts or restrictions on signing up. Any child who wants to playand who is registered by the deadline will be placed on a team.

Positive Coaching - Positive coaching teaches our children valuable lessons. At games AYSO only permits coaching that is positive, instructive, and encouraging. No other style of coaching is allowed. AYSO coaches are expected to employ positive coaching techniques at all times, including at practice.

Good Sportsmanship - All of our programs are designed to instill this in our children. Good sportsmanship is more important than winning.
