0/10 doctors would agree, but let's not split hairs. Instead, get some yummy treats and a few love stories to enjoy this Valentine's Day. 

The Friends of the Weston Public Library invite you to empty your pockets and fill your stomach for a good cause. The WPL lobby will be filled with baked goods from 9 AM until 5 PM or until they run out on Friday, February 10th. Cash and cards are both accepted. 

Trying to resist the siren song of sugar? You can always skip the calories and still support the library by joining the Friends of the Weston Public Library. 

If pop music is any indication (just ask the Backstreet Boys, Jewel,  and Chris Isaac)- people need to stick to board games instead of fooling around with each other's feelings. Luckily, the library has plenty of board games and puzzles, with more being added.

Board games can be borrowed for 21 days. Check out what we have available for games and puzzles online or just grab one that tickles your fancy from the display in front of the periodicals.

I think we can all agree that it was a stretch to include puzzles and games in a Valentine's Day-themed newsletter, so let's take it back to the basics.

Word nerds all agree that "democracy" has a "you" in it.

The word "Democracy" took a meandering path towards becoming an English language staple, but basically, the word is derived from the Greek "demos," meaning ‘the people’ and "-kratia," meaning ‘power, rule’. So democracy is nothing without YOU, the people. With that in mind, please mark your calendars with these dates that help keep our little piece of "for the people, by the people" running smoothly:

March 13th - 7pm- via Zoom- CPC Public Hearing- Check the Town Website for additional information
May 6th- 8am - 6pm - Annual Town Election-  Town Hall
