From: Regina A. Quick Center for the ArtsPULLING BACK THE CURTAIN
Going behind-the-scenes to share why your gift matters.
The Quick Center for the Arts is a community leader in the arts, a space for education and innovation, and a place to see the most thought-provoking performances and speakers from around the world.
If you have already made a gift to support our programs, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are profoundly grateful for the generosity of our Members, patrons, and donors, who make our work possible season after season.
As the year draws to a close, we remain acutely aware of the challenges faced by arts and cultural institutions in our community. We are committed to continuing to bring world-class artistic and cultural experiences to YOU. But we can not do it alone.
This month, we are “Pulling Back the Curtain” to take you behind-the-scenes and experience everything we do. You will see it best from the comfort of your seat so please choose your section and level of support as we work to:
- Deliver the most inspiring, original and immersive performances from around the globe
- Engage global leaders and innovators through our Open VISIONS Forum series
- Support three Senior Fellows in the arts
- Enrich the lives of 3000+ youth through the Arts for All program
- Foster student development through the employment of over 90 students, fellows, and interns
If you have not yet made a gift in support of our programs, both on stage and behind the curtain, please consider making a gift today and before December 31.
We appreciate your support as we continue to “Pull Back the Curtain” on the arts!
HOLIDAY NEWS
Wishing you and yours a wonderful holiday season!
Campus is much quieter as students rush home to spend time with family and friends over the winter break. With this in mind, the Quick will be in holiday-mode as well and we wanted to be sure you could still make the most of our offerings. Here are some reminders:
The Quick Box Office will be closed December 22 – January 1. However, you can still purchase tickets 24/7 online.
The Quick will also be kicking off the new year with our new ticketing system. If you have not yet set up your account from our previous prompt, please be sure to do so. We also want to give a huge shout out to Kyle Russell, Kurt Leon, the University’s ITS team, and our box office staff for making this transition possible as we know it will provide even better ticketing services for you.
And most importantly, we want to thank you for your involvement and engagement in our fall season. Thousands of people came together to experience the power of live arts and meaningful conversations and learning. We are so appreciative of our ticket buyers, sponsors, and Quick Members for their on-going support. We wish you a peaceful holiday season and we look forward to welcoming you back for an exciting 2024 season!

STUDENT EXPERIENCES AT THE QUICK
Molly Schlosstein is a junior marketing major with a digital concentration and she has been the Social Media Assistant at the Quick for the past two years. As part of her internship, Molly attended lectures and performances, artist rehearsals, and class discussions to create content and promote upcoming events. She often shared live coverage to offer followers a more raw and real Quick experience.
Molly shared, “I've had great exposure to the online marketing world since working with the Quick. My favorite event was definitely the discussion with Carl Bernstein, as it was a great experience to see such an influential figure. It was also amazing to see how great the turnout was, it always puts a smile on my face to see a full theatre! I've enjoyed working with great people and have enjoyed sharing all the wonderful aspects of Fairfield's Quick Center.”
Molly will be studying abroad this coming spring semester, and we look forward to seeing her shared experiences with other Fairfield University students as she expands her global learning.
