The Friends of the Newbury Town Library are having their annual plant sale on Saturday, May 20th beginning at 8:30am. Last year plants sold very quickly so we recommend getting here early to get your preferred selection. They will also have raffle tickets for some great items and stores!

Felted Soap Workshop

Every Friday at 1:00pm
Drop In
(Formerly Knitting Fridays) Bring your latest project and knit/crochet/embroidery/etc with us on Friday afternoons at 1pm - all levels welcome! Participants bring their own supplies and work on their own projects. This is a great time to connect with other fiber crafters and learn from each other.

Outdoor Escape Room
Saturday, May 13 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm

We are excited to announce the arrival of our very own Local History Escape Room! This adult activity is filled with puzzles and riddles based on local Newbury history. Think of it as an escape room meets scavenger hunt. The theme of the escape room centers around Newbury’s only documented case of witchcraft in the 17th century, but your escape will take you through various different periods of Newbury’s long history. For groups of 2-4 people, participants should be 16 or older.

Join us for Book Club! We're reading Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann. It is available in regular print, large print, audiobook, and is downloadable from Overdrive as an ebook or audio book . Copies are available for pickup at the Circulation Desk.
The Newbury Library Book Club is now meeting on the first Wednesday of the month from 6:00-7:00pm. New members are welcome and encouraged! No registration required.
