Dearborn, MI - In honor of National Arab American Heritage Month, the Dearborn Public Library will welcome local author Reda Taleb for a Fireside Chat and reading of her children’s book, “Noura’s Extraordinary Superpower: A Book for Youth with Incarcerated Loved Ones and How to Activate the Innate Superpower of Empathy for Healing.”

The event will take place on Wednesday, April 26 at 6 p.m. at the Henry Ford Centennial Library in room M15 on the third floor,
16301 Michigan Ave. Registration is required.

Light refreshments will be served, and copies of the book will be available for sale, as well as a book signing following the event. Children that attend will receive a care kit that includes affirmation cards, self-regulation exercises, and a journal.

The book is aimed at children in Kindergarten through grade 5, but the program is open to all ages.
