From: Brevard CountyBrevard County, FL. - Do you enjoy working with kids? Passionate about nutrition or healthy living? Need volunteer hours this summer? Then consider joining us for 4-H Teen Teachers! All teens entering 9th grade through 2023 high school graduates are eligible to participate.
Teen Teachers is a part of our Tiny Market program and will allow teen volunteers to facilitate lessons, games, and activities for younger children. Teens that participate in this volunteer program will gain leadership skills, earn volunteer hours toward Bright Futures, earn prizes, and more! This program will take place on select dates throughout the summer and teens will have the opportunity to sign up for days that work within their schedules.
There is a required training on June 1 from 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM. Once the training is completed, teen volunteers will be able to sign up for volunteer dates throughout June and July. This training is free and will be held at the UF/IFAS Extension Office in Cocoa (3695 Lake Drive, Cocoa, FL 32926). If you are not currently enrolled in Brevard County 4-H, you will need to enroll. We will provide you with instructions on how to do so, and there is no cost.
